Mucci Farms Celebrates Multiple Awards for Talent and Packaging Innovation

Kingsville, ON – June 12, 2024 – Mucci Farms, a member of the Cox Farms family of brands, is proud to announce a series of prestigious industry awards from the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) and the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD). These accolades recognize the team's commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence in the greenhouse space.

During this year’s CPMA trade show, dozens of new products competed to be recognized among the show’s most innovative. The new Mucci Farms Paper Bamboo Mesh bag came out on top as CPMA's Best Packaging Innovation. The fully recyclable and Forest Stewardship Council-approved packaging solution ensures optimal product protection, visibility and transport.
The CPMA also recognizes the exceptional work of women in produce each year. Fernanda Albuquerque, packaging development manager at Mucci Farms, was one of ten women to receive the Outstanding Women in Produce Award for her exceptional contributions to the industry. For over a decade, Fernanda has played a crucial role in helping Mucci Farms create more sustainable packaging. Her exceptional knowledge, and willingness to share it with others, have had a profound impact on her colleagues.
This year, Mucci Farms proudly nominated its Brand Promotions Manager, Jenna Peters, to participate in the Passion for Produce Program. Peters is among 20 other rising stars who will participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to expand supply chain knowledge through mentorship and industry events.
Mucci Farms is also thrilled to announce its incredibly talented Creative Design Team was recognized by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) with a 2024 In-House Design Award.
