Manheim Promotes New General Manager

Wholesale Vehicle Remarketing Company Names Eddie Lafferty GM at Manheim Nevada

As part of its continuing focus on developing talent and improving its customer experience, Manheim has promoted Eddie Lafferty to general manager at Manheim Nevada. Lafferty assumed his new role on May 11.

“Eddie’s experience in the wholesale and retail vehicle industries give him a great understanding of what our customers need to be successful,” said Barry Roop, RVP, West Region Operations. “Our company and customers in Nevada will benefit from Eddie’s insights. It’s very rewarding to promote a deserving individual to a new leadership position within our company.”

Lafferty, a seven-year veteran of Manheim, has worked as a commercial accounts manager and assistant general manager for the company. Lafferty comes to Manheim Nevada from Manheim Seattle, where he served as assistant general manager since 2012.

During his career with Manheim, Lafferty helped Manheim Seattle earn more than 50 awards and accolades from many national commercial accounts. With 27 years of experience in the automotive industry, Lafferty has earned valuable experience in both the wholesale and retail industries. Prior to joining Manheim in 2008, Lafferty worked in the sales, finance and service departments of several auto dealerships throughout the state of Washington.

Lafferty brings extensive auto remarketing, customer support, leadership and sales experiences to Manheim Nevada, where he will lead the overall operations of the auction to ensure efficiency, quality customer service and products.
