Ideabar Advances Racial Equality with New Contest
08/20/2020
Do you know an Atlanta-area nonprofit that is working to address systemic racial discrimination in education, employment, criminal justice, the environment, healthcare, voting or other areas?
You can help them win $250,000 of in-kind marketing services by encouraging them to compete in Ideabar’s Empowering Equality program. Ideabar, a Cox Enterprises marketing and media agency, is offering its services to the organization that tells the most compelling story about how it is advancing racial equality and social justice in Atlanta. No purchase of services is required to enter or win.
To compete, nonprofits must submit an essay of up to 500 words, describe how their marketing services will be used, and provide testimonials from inside and outside of the organization about the positive impact of their work.
The deadline to enter the contest is Sept. 30. To find more information and read the complete official rules, visit https://empoweringequality.ideabar.agency/. The public will vote on the finalists between Nov. 2–16. A grand prize winner will be announced on or about Dec. 1.
“Ideabar believes in the causes of purpose-driven brands with missions that change lives,” said Ideabar Managing Director Amy Royster Bridger. “Our team of creative professionals is motivated to respond to racial injustice in a meaningful way through this program.”
Since 2019, Ideabar’s pro bono marketing challenges have awarded $350,000 of in-kind services to nonprofits that are making a difference.
In July, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper received a $250,000 award for winning Ideabar’s Green for Good Environmental Marketing Challenge. In 2019, Ideabar awarded $100,000 of in-kind marketing services to Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
