Cox a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality
01/27/2022
For the fourth year in a row, Cox Enterprises has been named one of the “Best Places to Work” for LGBTQ Equality in the annual Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index.
The HRC, which is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Americans, gave Cox yet another perfect score for our ongoing commitment to providing workforce protections, inclusive medical benefits and supporting an inclusive culture for LGBTQ+ employees and their partners.
“We’re proud to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index as a 2022 Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” said Erin Mitchell Richeson, Cox Enterprises’ vice president of inclusion and diversity. “Our progress in this space is due to our commitment to fostering a culture that promotes authenticity, respects differences and celebrates diversity. Inclusion, diversity and equity is a journey, not a destination, and we’ll stay the course to continuously improve.”
Cox has a long history of championing human and equal rights. We value the contributions our LGBTQ+ employees and understand the importance of listening to, and supporting, our diverse workforce. When people can bring their authentic selves to work and feel both welcome and excited to be here, that’s when we start to embrace our Purpose to foster a better business and community.
