Cox Enterprises Promotes Robert Toner to Director of Operational Services

Cox Enterprises today announced that Robert Toner has been promoted to director of operational services, effective immediately. He reports to Cody Partin, vice president of real estate.

“Cox is a leading communications, media and automotive services company with hundreds of locations across the nation,” said Partin. “Rob works closely with our businesses to ensure Cox facilities are good for our employees, the environment and the bottom line.”

Toner works on Cox’s real estate team and supports construction and design projects for more than 22 million square feet of properties across 44 states. He serves as a consultant for Cox’s properties on workplace strategy, design and planning to create collaborative, energy-efficient environments. He works closely with Cox’s energy management, facilities, finance, information technology, legal, risk management and security departments.

Prior to joining Cox in 2008, Toner held positions with Amerigroup and Global Crossing. He also served as an adjunct professor at Rochester Institute of Technology.

He earned an associate’s degree in architecture from Alfred State College, a bachelor’s degree in interior design from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a master’s degree in interior design from Rochester Institute of Technology. Toner volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and participates in the company’s annual river cleanup in Atlanta.
