01/19/2017

Cox Enterprises today announced that RJ Egnor has been promoted to director of retirement plans, effective immediately. He reports to Jon Gamble, assistant vice president of benefits.

“As an employer of choice, Cox offers a robust benefits package, including retirement plans,” said Gamble. “RJ and his team do an outstanding job managing these important plans. He also possesses a wealth of retirement knowledge, ensuring the plans continue to meet the needs of participants.”

Egnor has responsibility over the design and administration of the company's U.S. qualified and non-qualified pension, 401(k), retiree healthcare and non-qualified deferred compensation plans covering approximately 60,000 employees. He also oversees vendor relationships on retirement issues, actuarial reporting and legal compliance.

Prior to joining Cox in 2012, Egnor served as a senior actuarial analyst at Willis Towers Watson. He received a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Florida State University, holds an associate certification from the Society of Actuaries and is an enrolled actuary by the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries.

He volunteers with Camp Kudzu, an organization that makes life better for children and teens living with type one diabetes.
