Cox Enterprises Promotes John Bell to Vice President of Information Systems Engineering

Cox Enterprises today announced that John Bell has been promoted to vice president of information systems engineering, effective immediately. He reports to Greg Morrison, senior vice president and chief information officer.

He is able to look at the big picture needs of the enterprise, while also customize services for the unique needs of each division.”
Bell manages information systems engineering solutions for Cox Enterprises and its divisions. The product portfolio includes compute, data centers, telecom consulting, wireless and managed network services. His team identifies solutions for cost and operational efficiencies across the enterprise.
He joined Cox Communications, the company’s broadband entertainment division, in 2002. Prior to Cox, Bell held information services roles at AT&T, Bellsouth and Broadriver Communications.
He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
