Cox Enterprises Promotes Jeff Hilton to Director of Enterprise Fleet Business Operations

01/14/2016

Cox Enterprises today announced that Jeff Hilton has been promoted to director of enterprise fleet business operations, effective immediately. He reports to Jim Bigelow, senior director of enterprise fleet operations.

“This role requires the flexibility to meet our company’s changing business needs and the ability to collaborate well across multiple divisions,” said Bigelow. “Jeff does both of these masterfully. He works closely with our field leadership to ensure they have the vehicles needed to deliver exceptional customer service and business operations.”

He is responsible for the acquisition, allocation and management of Cox’s fleet, which is comprised of more than 13,500 vehicles in 70 locations. He also participates in the deployment of fleet procedures and policies, as well as the selection of fleet vehicles and equipment.

Hilton joined Cox Communications, the company’s broadband communications and entertainment subsidiary, in 1992 and served as a network operations manager and northeast regional fleet director. He most recently served as Cox Enterprises’ senior manager of fleet operations.

He received a degree in business management from Roger Williams University. While at Cox Communications, Hilton received internal Leader of the Year and Vision awards. He actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
