ATLANTA, July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Cox Enterprises elected James Conrad "Rad" Weaver to its board of directors.

Weaver is the CEO of McCombs Partners, the San Antonio-based investment management division of McCombs Enterprises. Weaver oversees the implementation of the company's investment strategies, including management of direct investments in private operating businesses. McCombs' portfolio consists of over 40 investments throughout the United States across a wide range of industries, including technology, finance, automotive and natural resources.

Weaver serves on the boards of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' San Antonio Branch, San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Weaver is also a member of the Texas Business Leadership Council and Development Board at the University of Texas.

He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
