2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Available to watch on TV, Online and Mobile for Cox Customers

Cox Communications offers access to live sports action on TV, PC, tablet and smartphone

ATLANTA, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications today announced that its customers will be able to watch the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship when and where they want it at no additional charge - on their television, tablet, smartphone, or on their PC from any broadband connection.  With multiple viewing options, Cox customers won't have to miss a single basket of the NCAA® March Madness® coverage.

The 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship will be televised by TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV. The coverage begins on March 18, and continues through the Men's Final Four® and National Championship Game from North Texas on April 5 and April 7.

The 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship will be available to Cox customers through their:

  • Television: For the fourth consecutive year, all 67 games will be televised in their entirety across four television networks -- TBS, CBS, TNT, and truTV.
  • Computer: Cox customers with access to TNT, TBS and truTV on their TV will also be able to watch the games live online by going to www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live and using their Cox User ID and Password to sign in. All games broadcast on CBS are available with no registration.
  • Tablet/Smartphone: Cox customers with access to TNT, TBS, CBS and truTV on their TV will be able to watch the games live via the March Madness Live ® app.  The app is available on Android or Apple smart phones and tablets. Customers can also watch the games on the Contour and Cox TV Connect apps.

Cox customers who have Cox High Speed Internet and TV Essential will be automatically authenticated based on these service levels to the March Madness website or apps when accessing inside their homes. Customers will only log in with the Cox user ID and password if they access the website or app for the first time outside their home.
