At Cox, diversity continues to be an important part of who we are as a company and as individuals.

Cox Communications-Las Vegas announced a new initiative to support diversity scholarships for higher education and launched a five-year commitment to fund the scholarships with $175,000 at its inaugural Diversity Scholarship Breakfast. Cox Las Vegas awarded 16 college bound high school graduates from ethnically diverse communities in Southern Nevada with its first diversity scholarships during a formal presentation ceremony.

Cox Communications partnered with 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette and the Upsilon Rho chapter of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity to host the 12th annual Kuts for Kids and Stuff a Backpack event. The event provided free haircuts and school supplies to students ready to go back to school. Attendees also learned more about the Connect2Compete program.

Cox Communications Southwest donated more than $25,000 worth of new computer equipment and software to the Frank & Edith Morton Clubhouse at Boys & Girls Club in Arizona. Now students can strengthen their computer skills and complete school assignments.
